Eurotecnica has an extensive experience in integrating molten salts technologies inside chemical processes. Our proprietary High Pressure Melamine Technology utilizes specifically designed molten salts heaters for the supply of heat to the Melamine reactor.

Such item is designed to safely and flexibly operate in particularly harsh conditions: molten salts temperature is well above 500°C, their flowrate is comparable to that of a TES System (20”piping), the process side fluid is highly corrosive, cross contamination between fluids in the reactor may lead to explosions.

Furthermore, the reactor and the molten salts system are designed to operate with a turndown range of 20-100% and they even be stopped for a few hours with the reactor full of process fluid (bottling in shut down). Eurotecnica has supplied 16 melamine plants, where we sourced a wealth of information about the thermal and operation characteristics of molten salts systems. Thermal Energy Storage systems are a natural development of our know-how in molten salts.
