Environment Friendly Melamine

One of the key features of Eurotecnica's Melamine Process is the fact that the purification of melamine from impurities is made by leveraging on the intrinsic properties of the very process fluids. In other words, no chemicals whatsoever are added to the process and the mother liquor coming from melamine crystallization can be handled in a very simple way inside the melamine plant itself. All the chemicals in solution are thermally decomposed to ammonia and carbon dioxide. In other words, all the pollutants are converted to valuable off-gases, to be recycled to the urea plant. This has two important consequences. First of all the substances fed to the plant are totally recovered as melamine product or as easy to reprocess off-gas second, all the potential pollutants are totally removed from water (which is more than fit to be used as cooling water makeup) and there is no solid waste, the Eurotecnica process has zero liquid and solid discharge, i.e. no environmental costs.
